Applicant should be member or has to apply for ISOT membership to be eligible for this award. This Oration is awarded to a senior Transplantation Surgeon who has contributed significantly to the practice and teaching of Organ Transplantation in India. The awardee will be selected by the Scientific Committee of the ISOT.
The application must reach to the Secretariat before 31st July.

Recipient:

• • He/she should be recognized authority with significant research in Transplantation (basic or clinical science) documented by minimum 5 research papers publications as a first author- impact factor of journal should be counted.
  • He/she Must have worked for more than 10 years in field of Transplantation.
  • He/she has made significant impact in (changing) practice of Transplantation.
  • Anyone can submit nomination for Dr HL Trivedi oration as per prescribed format via e-mail to Secretary ISOT by 30th June each year. No hardcopy to follow.
  • It can be given to international leader who have made outstanding and sustained contributions to the establishment and/or development of Transplantation in their own country or region.
  • Chairman Scientific committee and Credential committee of ISOT can also nominate anyone and will decide the selections of awardee by 15th July each year and inform the awardee and post on ISOT website.
  • The Orator will be given a high-quality plaque and shawl. The Local organizing team of ISOT meeting and or ISOT would provide the logistics support (the travel, stay and registration) to the awardee.
  • The duration of talk for Dr HL Trivedi oration will be of 30 minutes including 5 minutes introduction of Dr HL Trivedi oration and awardee. It should be included in scientific program preferably on second day at premium time.

• The awardee will be chosen from ISOT members submitting abstract for ISOT annual congress. He/She should be among any researcher below 45 years of age who has made an outstanding contribution towards understanding Transplantation Science of relevance to India
• Work submitted for award should be unpublished

• Rs 50,000 with citation will be given to the most outstanding young researcher (Age less than 45 years) from India

• ISOT recognizes the contributions of its members with ISOT Mentee-Mentor Awards which is given to scientists who have made significant contribution in understanding of transplantation science
• It will foster the development of the young investigators who will shape the future of transplantation in India

• Evidence of Abstract Submission to ISOT Annual Congress
• Letter from Department Chair confirming the training status of the Mentee.

• ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• Mentee must be currently enrolled as a graduate student or Undergoing training in any transplant scientific field at the time of application. Candidates who have passed the examination at the time of application will not be considered for award. Mentee must be the first author and presenter of a submitted abstract (either oral or poster) at the ISOT Annual Congress.
• Mentor must be an nationally recognized faculty ISOT member with a strong record of past achievements in the field of transplantation. The mentor must be the senior author of the same accepted abstract (either oral or poster) at the ISOT Annual Congress.
• Mentee and Mentor must be active members of ISOT
• Please note that both Mentee and Mentor MUST ATTEND IN-PERSON the ISOT Annual Conference
• Applicants not present in person at the ISOT Annual Conference  will be disqualified and will not receive the award.
• Mentee should be less than 40 years of age
• ISOT Membership is compulsory
• Each year, 10 awards will be given
• Each Award will Carry INR 70000/- (20,000 for Mentor & 50,000 for Mentee). Award will be given at the ISOT Annual Meeting.
